In the thesis there was theoretically substantiated and proposed a new solution of scientific problems as to zonal sanitary evaluation of the water sources and its providing system on dairy farms and there was studied its impact on the health of cows, milk quality and safety. It was established that the water of different biogeochemical zones of Ukraine, for its sanitary indicators, in different seasons, do not always meet current standards of quality and safety. It is proved that the quality of water from various water sources depends on the depth of water intake, water-holding the underlying rocks layers, runoff influence, anthropogenic factors and sanitary condition of supply sources. There was established the correlation between the quantities of consumed water by cows, the micro- and macroclimate, the composition of the diet and the milk productivity. There was developed the leak-stone "Kendisorb" and experimentally proved its positive impact on clinical and metabolic status of cows. Correction the metabolism in lactating cows by feeding the leak-stone "Kendisorb" positively influenced hematopoesis and metabolic processes, contributed to the normalization of mineral metabolism, reduced the negative effect of toxins increased milk production of cows, contributed to the improvement of physical-chemical parameters of milk (density, acidity), increased content in milk protein and lactose.
