Essay

The thesis elaborates a new epistemological basis for the identification and analysis of the processes and mechanisms of fictional text formation that has made it possible to trace cognitive and semiotic narrative strategies of the 18th – 21st centuries French fictional text formation as a product of the author’s narrative programme. Linguistic and cognitive mechanisms of the conceptualization of the 18th century narrative strategies: "game" and "mirror" have been revealed; the frame organization of the 19th century narrative strategies: "focus" and "memoirs" and "expression" and "self-identification" in that of the 20th century has been reconstructed; the gestalt structures of the late 20th – early 21st centuries narrative strategies "kaleidoscope" and "duplication" have been built.
