The author's approach to conceptual and categorical framework and theoretical and methodological features of competitiveness study of human potential and the essence of the formation of the concept of the integration of Ukraine into the EU is grounded and defined as the provision of benefits in the development of human potential components (demographic, labor, life, education and qualification, etc.) based on the convergence of strategic areas of regulatory policies (demographic, economic, social, education) with the relevant areas of regulation in the EU, adaptation of the social policy functions to the EU priorities and requirements in reforming the national socio-economic system. The methodological basis of formation and enhancing the competitive advantages of human potential is founded, within which a system of indicators to measure the competitiveness of human potential in the socio-economic effects of European integration is formed. The analysis of the state and level of the human potential competitiveness of Ukraine and the EU is carried out, the results of which prove the effectiveness of increasing the national human potential competitiveness through integrated assessment and ranking and factor analysis of its components. The scientific and methodological approaches to assessing the demographic and socioeconomic factors increasing the competitiveness of Ukraine's human potential are improved, based on which the prospects, conditions, trends and patterns of institutional and resource support implementations of competitive socio-economic policies in line with EU requirements are identified. The system of the human potential competitiveness improvement in enhancing the integration of Ukraine into the EU is formed, within which a comprehensive approach to the market and indicative management of human potential components' realization and increase of its competitive advantages is proposed.
