Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the substantiation of the theoretical and methodological bases of the development of spirituality of students in the context of noospheric education. The methodology of the research is described. Theoretical and methodological analysis of the nature of spirituality of the individual, essence of the concepts "spirit", "soul", "body" in their evolutionary progress is carried out; philosophical, psychological and pedagogical approaches are used. Notional and functional characteristics of the category "spirituality" are revealed. The role of spirituality as determining factor of mental, social, physical health and spiritual security of the individual is discovered. Cosmo-planetary nature of a human is characterized (in the context of the doctrine about biosphere and noosphere of V. I. Vernadsky). The objective, tasks and principles of the noospheric education aimed at the development of the student’s individuality with noospheric level of consciousness (noospheric conception of the world, integral harmonious bio-relevant mentality and noospheric behavior) are defined. Organizational and methodological system of the development of spirituality of students in the noospheric sense is presented. Theoretical model of the development of spirituality of students in the context of the noospheric education in the integral pedagogical process of the university is developed. Academic and methodological complex of the integrated original special course of study «Pedagogics of spirituality» for the higher educational institutions, directed on education of the individual as cosmo-planetary phenomenon - the citizen of the Earth and the Universe is developed and scientifically grounded. Content, methods and stages of the process of spiritual formation of the student’s personality on the basis of synergetic approach of the modern post nonclassical science are characterized. Theoretical and methodological concept of the development of the student’s personality in the context of the noospheric education is grounded.
