Essay

The dissertation considers the genesis of the national educational tourism under the influence of historical and pedagogical conditions of the IX and 30's of the XX century based on the synthesis of the old printed matter, manuscripts and archival materials. It became personified as a socio-cultural phenomenon by the activity intentions of conscious educators on the geopolitical map of the world. Such a tendency is clearly observed in the spiritual, social, educational, and scientific spheres. The worldview of the educators was the value orientation, norms of behavior, target guidance. They reflected the evolution of personal interests, the specifics of national manners, behavior focus in the context of the spatial-temporal continuum. In view of the milestones of civilization, the intensification of the development of domestic educational tourism fell on the serfdom and post-serfdom periods, when the complex life conditions of many generations of the Ukrainians produced decisive actions. Low level of literacy of the broad masses of society, minimalistic welfare, and imperial oppression provoked the dynamic development of the phenomenon, which ensured the revival of the Ukrainian statehood. Active growth of domestic educational tourism has been proven to contribute into the development of ancient educational traditions, which, combined with the modern traditions, provided the basis for the curriculum of the national school aspired by many generations of the Ukrainians. Despite the tangible destructive effects of the existing autocracy, the traditional nature of the phenomenon ensured the preservation of the regional integrity. In broader terms, it contributed to the emergence of the nation.
