Object – socio-economic determinants of health of the population; goal – to develop theoretical, methodological and practical principles for assessing socio-economic determinants of inequality in the health of the population for the scientific substantiation of the principles and directions of the state policy of preserving and strengthening the health of the population; methods – theoretical research and analysis of empirical data, general scientific and special; novelty – scientifically substantiated the conceptual model of socio-economic determinants of health of the population, developed and tested the algorithm and method of estimating the influence of socio-economic determinants on the health of the population using microimitation modeling, an author's original approach to the assessment of the effects of the conditions of the early period of life on the state the health of the population in adulthood, for which the toolkit has been developed and an author's sociological survey has been conducted, a technique for modeling the social impact iso-economic determinants on the state of health of the population, a methodological approach to the integrated assessment of the health status of the population is proposed, the index of the state of health of the population for each person is developed as a composite indicator, which consists of the index of individual health and the index of life expectancy of the individual , the conceptual apparatus of research of socio-economic determinants of public health, the system of indicators of health of the population has been improved; theoretical and practical results – the mechanism of the influence of socio-economic determinants on the state of health and inequality in the health of the population on the social and individual levels was revealed, the relationship between the state of health and its determinants was revealed, and statistical models reflecting the interconnection indicators of health of the population with the main determinants, improved method of conducting sociological research for obtaining more complete and reliable information about the state of health of the population and its determinism nanti, approaches to determining the impact of socio-economic status on the health status of the population, the preconditions and main strategic directions of the policy of regulation of socio-economic determinants of public health at the state and regional levels; the results of the research are implemented into an economic practice.
