Object – social risks; goal – development of scientific and methodological principles, determination of methods and models for minimizing the negative impact of social risks, and substantiation of practical recommendations for improving existing methods of minimization; methods – dialectical, probabilistic, logical analysis and synthesis, correlation analysis, statistical simulation, graphical and tabular, construction of logical models, generalization and abstraction, expert evaluations, polyelectics; novelty –scientific and methodological principles of minimizing the negative impact of social risks in the form of a comprehensive system of social protection have been developed, the list of models suitable for minimizing the negative impact of social risks is substantiated and systematized; A model of social regulation (MSR), suitable for minimizing the impact of social policy risks and behavioral risk, has been developed, the organizational and functional principles of practical realization of the tasks of a complex system of social protection by the systematization and distribution of the process of minimizing the negative impact of social risks on successive interconnected stages are developed, мodels of definition of interconnected parameters of the accumulation system of pension insurance during the period of accumulation of funds and during their use have been developed, the concept of "social risks" from the standpoint of object-subjective, process and value-oriented approaches has been improved; theoretical and practical results – the scientific definition of the risk as an economic category has been improved, as well as scientific and methodical approaches to the classification of social risks in order to identify them in the substantiation of social policy measures and scientific approaches to the treatment of social insurance, which is represented by the basic model of social protection by social and economic essence, the conceptual foundations of the complex system of social protection as to its configuration are substantiated as part of such basic attributes as goal, functions and principles, subjects and objects, sphere of action, logic of construction and functioning, as well as methodological principles of the system of reaction to the negative influence of social risks , which makes it possible to apply the results of research both at the time of the crisis and during economic growth; the results of the research are introduced into economic practice.
