Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of scientifically applied problem of increase of efficiency and trouble - free operation of tractors in the composition of transport and technological units of variable mass due to the choice of rational modes of their functioning. The concept of a systematic approach of increasing the efficiency of the tractor based on the proven assertion of providing a minimum of energy losses for vibrations of the center of mass is developed. The theory of forming the resistance force of rolling of the driving wheel of the tractor in the composition of the transport-technological unit of variable mass, which, unlike the existing ones, takes into account the non-stationarity of the hook load due to the oscillatory motions of the center of mass, is clarified. It is proved that the latter can be represented as a piecewise linear function characterizing the dropping and loading of loads, which periodically change each other. In order to ensure the efficiency of the transmission system, the statement about the reduction of additional operating costs of the unit for self-movement and, as a consequence, reduction of the acceleration of the center of mass of the unit in its spatial dynamics has been proved. It is proved that the transition to III transmission of the transport range allows to reduce the load on the shaft of the check point by 3 times.
