Essay

The object of the study is the system of training international relations specialists in Ukraine; the subject of the study is the process of development of professional training of international specialists in Ukrainian higher educational establishments in the second half of the 20 - beginning of the 21 centuries; the purpose of the study - is to summarize and fully characterize the development of the system of training of international specialists in Ukrainian higher educational establishments in the second half of the 20 - at the beginning of the 21 centuries and to find out the prospects for its improvement in modern universities; research methods are divided into two main groups: general and scientific (analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, abstraction and concretization, idealization and formalization, generalization and comparison) determine the directions of cognitive actions and operations in accordance with research tasks; interdisciplinary: periodization method, historical-structural and structural-functional (determine the procedures of reconstruction of the process of vocational training as the entire system, distinguishing of its structural elements, establishing relations between them, identifying mechanisms and patterns of their development); sociological (analysis of statistical materials); content analysis (promotes the use of special approaches, methods of processing and interpretation of information sources); discourse analysis (outlines approaches and methods of comparison and analysis of scientific ideas, concepts, theories); actualization and forecasting (orienting on the creative usage of historical and pedagogical experience in determining the development prospects, improving the system of training international specialists in the higher education system of Ukraine), etc; the scientific novelty of the dissertation is that for the first time: in historical and pedagogical research on the basis of a comprehensive study of variety of historical and pedagogical sources, a comprehensive chronological study of the formation and development of professional training of international specialists in the higher educational system of Ukraine in the second half of the 20 - early 21 centuries ; prerequisites are defined and periodization of the development of the system of professional training of future international specialists in Ukraine is proposed (the first period - Soviet 1944-1991; the second period - 1991-2004 - maintaining the national foundations and modernization of the system of professional training of specialists in international relations; the third period - 2005-2018 - transformation of the system of professional training of future international specialists of Ukraine in the context of integration into a single European educational space. The stages of development and organizational principles of higher education institutions for the training of future international specialists in Ukraine (vocational guidance, recruitment, admission of entrants, material and technical facilities) are analyzed.
