In the thesis, the issue of training values-based attitude to the nature of future biology teachers is studied at the methodological, theoretical and practical levels. Methodological approaches (culturological, competent, noospheric, axiological, ecopsychological) to training values-based attitude to the nature of future biology teachers are explained that correspond with modern trends in training a future teacher and cover such levels as methodological (conceptual idea, approaches, principles); theoretical (content, functions, conditions, modern technologies); methodical (diagnostic and monitoring techniques). The basic concepts and leading ideas of the concept of training values-based attitude to the nature of future biology teachers; the phenomenon of “harmonious human-nature interaction” from a philosophical and methodological position are revealed. It is proved that the structure of values-based attitude to the nature of future biology teachers is complex and consists of such components as intellectual, valuable, behavioral, as well as three criteria: cognitive, emotional-valuable and practical, which reflect the development of the worldview system, valuable, ecocultural and moral orientations, experience of environmental activities of a future biology teacher.
