The dissertation presents a new solution to the scientific and applied problem of improving the efficiency of transport vehicles and their functional systems, convertible to work on natural gas. The work is based on experimental studies, complex methods for evaluating the technical condition of elementary and multi-faceted systems, as well as the method for optimizing the design and mode parameters of technical systems of gas engine that affect the dynamic properties and stability of functional systems, as well as traction-velocity modes of movement that provide an increase efficiency and environmental safety and efficiency of the technical operation of the converted motor vehicle for operation on natural gas. The conducted experimental research at the expanded stand confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed methods for converting means of transport for operation on natural gas.
