Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the decision of an actual scientific problem of reliability process and functional stability of wheeled vehicle in the conditions of shutdown mode of a part of cylinders of the engine taking into account their dynamic features and of diagnosis using an artificial neural network. Additional losses of engine energy on wheeled vehicle movement caused by increase in uneven torque at shutdown of a part of cylinders are defined. The dynamics of change of effective power and work of the engine at dispersal with shutdown of a part of cylinders is defined. A method for assessing the technical condition of the engine of a wheeled vehicle using an artificial neural network and the ascertaining the capabilities of shutdown of a part of cylinders have been developed. Experimental studies are made of the power change on the vehicle wheels when shutdown one or more engine cylinders. A method has been developed for evaluating the reliability of the main components of the engine with a view to determining the effect of increasing the unevenness of torque when shutdown of a part of cylinders.
