In this study the attempt was made to solve the actual problem of the formation of the contest of the biological education of pupils in the modern school. The metodological and theoretical grounds of the corresponding problem are defined, with the regard to which the basis of the elaborated didactic conception of formation of the integrity of knoledge of pupils about living nature was made.
