NAUMCHUK K. The mechanism of state anti-corruption policy in ensuring the economic security of Ukraine

In today's reality, the fight against corruption in the public sphere has acquired national significance, because the future of our country and the well-being of citizens depend on the effective anti-corruption policy of the state, because the state is an institution to curb economic crime. In such conditions, reducing the level of corruption is not possible without a comprehensive consideration of the problem at all possible levels of government. Mechanisms of state anti-corruption policy in ensuring the economic security of Ukraine should take into account the peculiarities of social, political, economic, legal and other aspects of implementation, both in terms of awareness of the destructive power of corruption and in terms of developing effective methods to prevent and combat it. However, the fight against corruption should be consistent on the basis of a professional - scientific approach to the development and implementation of preventive, strategic and other public administration mechanisms at all levels of government. The effectiveness of the mechanisms of state anti-corruption policy in ensuring economic security should take into account possible changes that occur in the internal and external environment, to adapt to them. Thus, the above material necessitates the analysis of scientific sources, development and implementation of recommendations for improving the mechanism of state anti-corruption policy in ensuring the economic security of Ukraine. The paper analyzes the historical aspects of the development of mechanisms of state anti-corruption policy in ensuring Ukraine's economic security, during which: it was found that the phenomenon of corruption was mentioned in the Koran, which traces further sources of corruption in all countries from the Middle Ages to the present; the relationship between different views on the interpretation of the essence of corruption in all spheres of life is established; the social affiliation which is caused by abuse of official position of officials during all existence of mankind is specified; the division of the corruption phenomenon is generalized according to the main reasons of its occurrence, which were most often caused by poverty and ignorance of citizens, low social culture, wrong perception of the essence of this phenomenon.
