This dissertation investigates the problem of forming readiness of future agricultural specialists for foreign language professionally oriented communication. The content and structure of readiness of future agricultural specialists for foreign language professionally oriented communication is disclosed and the organizational and pedagogical conditions of its formation are determined. The analysis of peculiarities of foreign language professionally oriented communication of agricultural specialists allows us to identify the readiness for foreign language professionally oriented communication as professionally important quality of the personality, which forms a system of interconnected structural components, namely: motivational, content-operational and communicative. The motivational component reflects purposefulness and positive attitude to the future professional activity, students' interest in foreign language study; the content-operational one is designed to expand and update the knowledge and skills required for successful foreign language communication; the communicative one reflects the ability to use the received knowledge, skills and abilities during foreign language professionally oriented communication. The results of the analysis of foreign and Ukrainian experience of foreign language training of future specialists in different fields allow us to state the diversity of the developed approaches to the organization of education in higher education institutions. This is reflected in the implementation of certain training concepts (Deutsch für den Beruf, English for specific purposes, Content and language integrated learning, Content-based second language instruction, Immersion, Cooperative language learning, Collaborative learning, etc.). The Ukrainian system of foreign language training of agricultural students is characterized by the integration of traditional and innovative technologies. It was also found that one of the topical direction of the implementation the foreign language professional training both abroad and in the Ukrainian educational space is the orientation to the simultaneous acquisition of knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies in professional and foreign language activities. Based on the principles of professionally oriented education the organization and methodical bases of readiness formation for foreign language professionally oriented communication are developed and substantiated. The created structural and functional model of educational process includes interconnected blocks – motivational and targeted, theoretical and methodological, content and technological and efficient and evaluative. It includes: 1) implementation of the requirement to enrich the content of vocational training with the content of other disciplines, which is achieved through the creation of interdisciplinary links; 2) developing a pedagogical support system for teaching foreign language in the academic disciplines and on top of that (teaching specific topics in a foreign language, learning the language in an agricultural context); 3) updating the system of traditional methods of foreign language training of future agricultural specialists with innovative educational and communicative technologies. The complex of organizational and pedagogical conditions, which are the prerequisites for successful implementation of the structural and functional model of preparation of future agricultural specialists for the foreign language professionally oriented communication, is identified and characterized, namely: the ensuring the gradual formation of a strong intrinsic motivation to learn foreign language for professional purposes; the orientation of future agricultural specialists` foreign language training for the stage-by-stage accumulation of professional experience in the foreign language professionally oriented communication; the creation of an active educational communicative environment taking into account the peculiarities of foreign language professionally oriented communication of future agricultural specialists.
