Essay

The dissertation for obtaining academic degree of the Philosophy Doctor (Ph.D.), specialization 291 “International relations, public communications and regional studies” (29 – International relations). – Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, MES of Ukraine. – Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, MES of Ukraine. – Kyiv, 2021. In the dissertation the complex analysis of formation and development of forms and mechanisms of interstate cooperation of the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran is carried out and efficiency of their functioning is defined. It is argued that the need to adapt to new economic, political and social realities in the transformation of the international order leads to the emergence of new models and levels of international relations that need analysis and evaluation. The paper deepens the theoretical and methodological approaches to the definition and study of interstate cooperation as a basic form of interaction between the subjects of international relations. It is shown that the interstate relations of the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic Iran for thirty years (1991 - 2021) was characterized by both intensification and slowdown in cooperation. It is argued that the current level of intensification and content of political and diplomatic, as well as other contacts and ties between Moscow and Tehran can be considered unprecedented in the history of bilateral relations between these states.
