Shevchuk O. Public-private partnership in the field of innovative development

An innovative tool for the development of the economy and socio-economic relations in the state is the establishment of partnership relations between the state in the persons of the executive power and local self-government bodies and the subjects of entrepreneurial activity. Public-private partnership stimulates the attraction of investments in the real sector of the economy and promotes the development of capital markets, goods and services, and innovative industries. Today, public-private partnerships are a mechanism for developing infrastructure and improving the quality of public services, as well as providing significant tasks for the investment and innovation development of regions. The successful use of public-private partnership can give positive results due to the combination (complement) of higher competencies of the public sector and the business structure to satisfy the interests of both parties. In Ukraine, the PPP model is still underutilized due to problems in the institutional and legislative components of the regulatory procedure, but interest in PPPs is constantly growing.
