Melkonian A. The essence and features of public policy in the field of social protection

The dissertation research is devoted to the specifics of the functioning of public administration and administration in relation to the system of social protection, the peculiarities of its implementation in the world and Ukrainian reality and the ways of its modernization in the domestic context. The formation of a new concept of public policy in the field of social protection, especially in the context of the European integration vector of Ukraine, requires scientific substantiation and improvement of mechanisms for public administration of social protection in accordance with social needs, international norms and standards. Mechanisms of state administration are the defining determinants of the social protection system, ie they reflect certain levels, functions and structures of the system and are subject to changes aimed at improving social protection in Ukraine.
