Cifers A. Public management of educational institutions in local communities in Ukraine.

The dissertation is complex research, in which the theoretical and methodological foundations of public management of educational institutions in the local communities of Ukraine are substantiated, based on the principles of intersubjective interaction of the public-community partnership between the local government and the community, and practical recommendations for improving the public management are proposed. The study presents an overview and comparison of the principles, approaches, and mechanisms of public management of educational institutions in local communities within the decentralization reform. The features of the legal framework that arise as a result of the practical management activities of local government bodies are considered, and the level of achievement of the goals and objectives of the decentralization reform in the field of education is assessed by conducting empirical research, as well as the role of local government in the national strategy for the development of the education system of Ukraine as a key representative of interests communities in the conditions of modern challenges and threats.
