The object of research is public administration of investment development of the region.The purpose of the dissertation is to provide scientific substantiation of proposals for improving the organizational and legal mechanism of public administration of investment development in the region.The methodological basis of the study is based on general scientific and special methods of economic analysis and scientific knowledge. The dissertation uses the following methods: system analysis, observation, synthesis, classification, systematization, generalization, economic and legal analysis, structural analysis, statistical analysis, comparison, grouping, cluster analysis based on the k-means method, graphical method, functional and systematic approach, comparative analysis, planning, historical and logical method.The thesis provides a scientific substantiation of theoretical and methodological provisions and formulates scientific and practical proposals for improving the organizational and legal mechanism of public administration of investment development in the region. The author analyzes the practice of application of the organizational and legal mechanism of public administration of investment development of the region and suggests ways to improve the organizational and legal mechanism of public administration of investment development of the region. As a result of the study: scientific approaches to determining the features of the organizational and legal mechanism of public administration of investment development of the region are generalized, which resulted in clarifying the essence of such scientific categories as "investment development of the region", "mechanisms of public administration" and "organizational and legal mechanism of public administration of investment development of the region"; characterized and improved the structure of the organizational and managerial mechanism of public administration of investment development of the region; proposed the creation of a permanent advisory body at the regional level - the Ombudsman Council, and the introduction of the post of ambassador in the apparatus of public administration of investment development at the level of the regional council; improved the model of the regulatory and legal mechanism of public administration of investment development of the region and proposed its implementation in the context of ensuring modernization; systematized the legislative support within the framework of the regulatory and legal mechanism for public administration of the investment development of the region and divided the legislative acts into two groups; developed a model of a comprehensive organizational and legal mechanism for public administration of the investment development of the region, the main structural components of which are the regulatory and legal and organizational and managerial mechanisms; evaluated the effectiveness of the organizational and legal mechanism of public administration of investment development of the region on the basis of four parameters, which resulted in the identification of six main problems of ensuring this mechanism; improved the model of the organizational and managerial mechanism of public administration of investment development of the region; formed the priority areas and three main stages of restoration of investment potential and investment development of regions after the end of hostilities.The results of the dissertation are used in the activities of: NGO "Open Society of Ukraine", NGO "Agency for Recovery and Development", Vyhoda Village Council (Kalush district, Ivano-Frankivsk region), Spaska Territorial Community (Kalush district, Ivano-Frankivsk region), Department of Economic Development, Industry and Infrastructure of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, Department of International Cooperation and European Integration of Communities of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, in the educational process of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, namely, at the Department of Management and Business Administration.
