The dissertation is devoted to scientific substantiation, development of theoretical provisions and practical recommendations for improving the management of financial and economic security of business in the system of the global information environment.
Analysis of digitization trends and their impact on the development of financial and economic security of business. The main directions of digitalization trends are identified: globalization of business processes, which allows companies to serve customers around the world, significantly expanding the sales market and opening up new opportunities for growth, subject to the development of an effective competition strategy; increasing the role of intellectual resources, which are drivers of innovation, development of new products, services and technologies, as well as processing large volumes of data to create value; the growing importance of digital literacy in all aspects of life due to the need to use digital tools and platforms for effective work, learning and social interaction. It was determined that the development of the digital economy takes place at the crossroads of the latest technological achievements, among which artificial intelligence, robotics, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, analytics of large data sets, and 3D printing technology can be distinguished. The key trends of digitization are defined as: E-commerce (expansion of Internet platforms, methods and means for online sales of goods and services using digital tools), E-banking (combines the provision of various banking and financial services through electronic channels and with the help of telecommunications technologies), E-governance (application of information and communication technologies in the field of public management). It has been proven that the basis for the development of financial and economic security of business is a developed IT industry. Ukraine demonstrates impressive achievements in the development of the IT sector, in particular, in 2021, the IT industry took a leading position in the volume of services exports. The potential of digital transformation is reinforced by the existing IT education system, which annually provides a significant number of qualified specialists for the IT industry. However, there are barriers that slow down the digital integration of local businesses, industries, and state and local government. These include significant disparities in the availability of digital resources and services, low innovation activity, limited digital competencies and culture, as well as suboptimal legislative and institutional regulation of the digital economy.
The mechanism of managing financial and economic security of business is characterized, under which it is proposed to understand a complex system of organizational, methodical and instrumental measures aimed at identification, analysis and minimization of internal and external risks that can negatively affect the stability and development of the enterprise. This mechanism includes the processes of setting financial and economic security goals, choosing strategies and tactics for their achievement, developing and implementing specific risk management measures, monitoring and auditing the effectiveness of the measures taken. The goals of financial and economic security are characterized: asset protection (providing physical and legal protection of property, financial resources and intellectual property against theft, fraud, vandalism, etc.), ensuring liquidity (maintaining a sufficient level of cash and liquid assets to ensure current obligations), risk minimization (identification, analysis and measures to reduce financial, operational, market, legal and other risks), ensuring profitability and compliance with legislation (planning and implementation of actions to ensure stable revenue growth and profit maximization and ensuring compliance of all aspects of the enterprise's activities with current legislation and regulatory requirements). It is proven that the choice of strategies and tactics includes risk management strategies (includes the identification of potential risks, assessment of their impact and the development of action plans to minimize or eliminate them), financial planning and analysis (aimed at assessing the financial condition of the enterprise, forecasting future needs for resources and development of budgets), investment strategy (aimed at ensuring the optimal allocation of capital between various assets to achieve maximum return at an acceptable level of risk), diversification strategy (envisages expanding the range of products or services, entering new markets to reduce dependence on a single source of income), cyber security and data protection (development and implementation of measures to protect information systems from unauthorized access, data loss or other cyber threats), corporate culture and training.
