The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and experimental solution of the scientific task of forming the diagnostic competence of future officers - specialists in physical training and sports in the process of professional and pedagogical training.
The formation of diagnostic competence of future officers is substantiated in accordance with the requirements of competence, systemic, contextual and subjective methodological approaches to their professional and pedagogical training. It has been found that the «diagnostic competence of future officers – specialists in physical training and sports» is their professionally important mental formation, which consists of diagnostic professional training, intellectual, activity and subjective ability, as well as, professional readiness to realize their diagnostic function as future chiefs of physical training and sports in military units. Therefore, the content of this competence should correlate with their diagnostic function as future chiefs of physical training and sports of servicemen in military units.
Scientific novelty of the research results:
for the first time, the pedagogical conditions for the formation of diagnostic competence of future officers – specialists in physical training and sports in the process of professional and pedagogical training (support and development of values and motivation for the formation of diagnostic competence in future officers in the process of professional and pedagogical training in higher military educational institutions; pedagogical modelling of the formation of diagnostic competence of future officers – specialists in physical training and sports; implementation of the author's contextual methodology for the formation of diagnostic competence, which is implemented through the use of a special course «Diagnostic competence of future officers – specialists in physical training and sports and its formation in higher education institutions»; improvement of criteria and indicators for assessing the formation of diagnostic competence in future officers) were substantiated;
improved: the pedagogical model of formation of diagnostic competence of future officers, which consists of five interrelated blocks – purpose and methodological, theoretical, subject-subject, methodical and evaluative-resultant; improvement is carried out by specifying, adapting, supplementing and modernising existing models of formation of various types of competence of future officers in the process of professional and pedagogical training;
the author's contextual method of forming the diagnostic competence of future officers - specialists in physical training and sports in higher education institutions; improvement is carried out by improving and supplementing the existing methods of forming various types of competence of future officers in the process of professional training in higher education institutions;
criteria and indicators for assessing the formation of diagnostic competence of future officers in the process of professional and pedagogical training in higher education institutions; improvement was made by supplementing and specifying the criteria and indicators for assessing the formation of their diagnostic competence, taking into account the specifics of military professional and, most importantly, diagnostic activities in the troops;
we have further developed the concept of «diagnostic competence of future officers - specialists in physical training and sports» was further developed by specifying and supplementing it – «their professionally important mental formation, which includes diagnostic preparedness, intellectual, activity and subjective ability, as well as comprehensive readiness for diagnostic activities as future chiefs of physical training and sports in military units».
The practical significance of the research results is to implement the main results of the formation of diagnostic competence of future officers – specialists in physical training and sports in the system of higher education.
