Essay

The thesis is devoted to the theoretical substantiation, development, and experimental verification of the methodology for the formation of Persian language competence in interpreters’ dialogues in the sphere of safeguarding of state security. The thesis outlines the content of Persian language competence in dialogic speech among interpreters in the sphere of safeguarding of state security. It is substantiated that the specified competence includes the following components: extralingual (knowledge from the sphere of state security of Ukraine and the Islamic Republic of Iran); linguo-sociocultural (knowledge of cultural elements reflected in language, as well as the ability to produce dialogues using verbal and non-verbal means relevant to native speakers); speech and language (ability to use professional vocabulary, grammatical constructions in speech, to produce dialogues); strategic (the ability to apply speech strategies and tactics in order to achieve certain communicative goals. The content of Persian language competence in interpreters’ dialogues in the sphere of safeguarding of state security is determined by the specifics of communication in the named sphere, several communicative situations, and the professional informational content of communication.
