The dissertation is a comprehensive study of theoretical, methodical and practical problems regarding the diagnosis and overcoming of negative mental states of entrepreneurs during the pandemic and war. The research is based on the assumption that the long-term effect of negative external and internal factors on the personality in crisis conditions during a pandemic and war leads to a decrease in functional capabilities, the emergence of negative mental states, which impairs the efficiency of professional activity, and also causes the development of negative mental states up to premorbid and pathologies. This requires national scientists to carefully study the impact of the pandemic and war on the psyche of the individual and to develop and test effective methods and means of overcoming negative mental states of entrepreneurs. Based on the results of the analysis of professional literature, personal research and experience of entrepreneurial activity, we offer the author's definition. We consider the negative mental states of entrepreneurs in special conditions as a holistic, mobile, changeable and, at the same time, relatively stable reaction of the psyche of the individual with an advantage over the certain structural components - individual-psychological, social, professional and biological. Collectively, this characterizes the mental activity of an individual over a certain period of time in accordance with the subjective perception and interpretation of crisis conditions, external or internal factors that negatively affect the psyche, professional activity and health of the specialists. The empirical study was carried out during 2021-2024. The survey covered 115 entrepreneurs and 200 respondents who took part in a pilot study based on the author's questionnaire regarding the assessment of factors that cause negative mental states during a pandemic and war. The author's program for overcoming negative mental states by entrepreneurs was developed. The experimental study was conducted to determine its effectiveness. The control group included 25 entrepreneurs to use the psychological program. The experimental group consisted of the same 25 people with whom the author's program for overcoming negative mental states was tested. The peculiarities of the manifestations of negative mental states of entrepreneurs are established, which are indications and grounds for the use of a purposeful program to overcome them in crisis conditions. A high level of anxiety, aggressiveness, apathy, dysphoria, hypothymia, confusion was determined in the control group of entrepreneurs; a reduced level of both basic and mediated motives and the predominance of the latter; significantly expressed manifestations of the phases of tension, resistance, exhaustion, as well as a decrease in the level of the components of vitality - inclusion and professional control and deterioration of indicators of the emotional component, motivational and professional components of vitality. The purpose of the program is to outline measures and means, psychological technologies for overcoming negative mental states of entrepreneurs, which are aimed at overcoming negative mental states at the psychological, social, physical, spiritual and professional levels. Practical recommendations for using the program to overcome negative mental states of entrepreneurs during the war are presented in the following content: Introduction. Chapter 1. Psychodiagnostic tools for the study of negative mental states of entrepreneurs. Chapter 2. General methods of overcoming stressful effects on the personality. Chapter 3. The structure and psychological technologies of the program for overcoming negative mental states among entrepreneurs during the war. The conceptual research model was developed, which includes the theoretical and methodological foundations, goals, tasks, stages and structure of the program to overcome negative mental states of entrepreneurs in crisis conditions during the pandemic and war. Two author's questionnaires were developed and tested: the first of them is designed to assess the factors that cause negative mental states in crisis conditions during a pandemic and war; the second is aimed at determining the manifestations of negative mental states among the examined. This contributed to the determination of subjective and objective factors that cause negative mental states, the peculiarities of their manifestations and made it possible to justify the psychodiagnostic toolkit for their diagnosis. The effectiveness of the influence of the psychological program was developed and proven, as evidenced by significant positive changes in the indicators of the individual-psychological, motivational, professional, emotional-volitional spheres, which led to the formation of practical recommendations for its use.
