YaROVA L. Self-upbringing of children and teenagers in scouting.

Object of research: the process of children and teenagers' self-upbringing as a part of system of upbringing in scouting. Purpose: theoretical analysis of components of pedagogical leading in scouts' self-upbringing. Methods: analysis of scientific and methodic literature; method of structural analysis of practical experience; pedagogical observations; diagnostic methods; testing. Results and novelty of research: substantiation of system of self-upbringing in scouting; the elaboration of forming criteria of self-upbringing skills; disclosing of pedagogical possibilities in scouts' system of upbringing and self-upbringing scientific substantiation of the main directions of self-upbringing of scouts in modern youth organizations of Ukraine. Subject, degree and efficiency of approbation: theoretically substantiated and experimentally checked system of organization and leading of self-upbringing of children and teen-agers; principles, forms and methods of upbringing work in scouting; pedagogical conditions of effective increasing of the process of self-upbringing, the new structural model of scouts' process of self-upbringing. Field of application: extra-school youth organizations.
