Popova D. Formation of Senior Pupils' Universal Values by Means of Mass Media in Modern Conditions.

The object of the research: the process of senior pupils' universal values formation by mass media. The subject of the research: pedagogical means of correcting mass media influence on the senior pupils' universal values formation. The purpose of the research is a theoretical substantiation of the experimental program of senior pupils' universal values formation by mass media. Methods: theoretical - the analysis of the philosophical, sociological, psychological, pedagogical literature and generalizations of the extracted data, classification, modeling, construction of analogy, comparison, integration, analysis and generalization of experimental data, analysis of advanced pedagogical experience; empirical - sociological methods, diagnostic methods, questioning, discussions, oral and written interrogations, direct and including supervision, self-supervision, prognostic methods (expert estimations, independent estimations), experimental methods, studying of the documents etc. The scientific novelty of research is in a theoretical substantiation of the program of senior pupils' universal values formation by mass media, experimental approbation of psychological and pedagogical conditions, which provide positive educational influence on process of senior pupils' universal values formation by mass media. The usage area: secondary schools, educational administrative bodies, social institutions, teachers' training colleges, universities.
