1.The object of the research: the process of economic upbringing and education at high school. The subject matter: the contents of economic education and of the methods of economic upbringing of the pupils in the 8th-9th forms in the process of studying the subjects of school educational component. The methodological basis of the research comprises general scientific principles: systematic approach, integrity, structure composition, dynamism; scientific provisions of fundamental psychological and pedagogical studying of the problems of educational and specialized training of schoolchildren: the concept of the development of personality in the process of their activity; the optimization of the educational process and the process of upbringing. Methods: theoretical, empiric, praximetrical. Scientific novelty of the dissertation lies in the scientific substantiation of the conceptual basis of the construction of the concepts of economic education at high school; in the improvement of the methods of economic upbringing; in the grounding of the relationship of the concepts and methods of economic training and pupils' consciousness choice of the sphere of economics and business as their field of educational specialization. Practical importance of the dissertation lies in the creating of special economic program for the pupils in the 8th- 9th forms of secondary school and the methods of economic upbringing in the process of their implementation. The materials of the research can be used at secondary school for the implementation of multilevel economic education at high school.
