Essay

The dissertation analyses the aesthetic parameters of the category historical time and it's influence on creative process. Historical time is considered as a symbolic context, in which and through which human is realized. The dynamics of this process is determined by the principles of harmony and perfection. Symbolic context forms the historical epoch. The perception of time in the context of the definite historical epoch determines it's temporal specific features. That is why we could classify historical epochs as: a) epochs with stable context; b) epochs with dynamic context; c) epochs without context. As an example of such classification we used different conceptions of explanation of influence of time on creative process from the history of philosophy from Plato to Kant. Especially important for us are the approaches of the 20th century thinkers A.Bergson, M. Heidegger, K.-G. Jung and H.-L. Borges. Our historical epoch, epoch of postmodern or post-culture, is a good example of epochs without context. That is why we have a rather complex system of determining the creative process by historical time. The main types of such determinants are vital-psychological, ontological and aesthetic.
