Essay

The subject matter of the research is educational process of senior grades in secondary educational establishments. The focus of the research is on content, methods and psychological and pedagogical conditions for shaping lifesense values of senior students as result of mastering “A Human Being and the World“ course. The objective is to theoretically ground and emperically test the effectiveness of content, methods and conditions for shaping lifesense values while mastering Humanities and social Studies. Research methods are theoretical and emperical. Scientific novelty is in defining the notion content “lifestyle values”; theoretically grounded and practically tested potential abilities of Social Sciences in educational process of secondary school; making a structural model of course content, methods and conditions for shaping lifesense values in mastering “A Human Being and the World”. Field of application: educational process of senior students of secondary educational establishments.
