Essay

The thesis focuses on the analysis of specific genre, compositional and linguopragmatic features of Spanish folk tales. Spanish folk tales, fixed in a written form, with the authentic form and contents of the text being preserved, are analyzed in the research work. This thesis suggests a complex approach to the study of tale stories. The analysis begins with the detailed description of their specific genre features, that influence the language of the text and determine the regularity of it's structural and thematic organization. The work contains the classification of the researched units in conformity with their semantic structure and contents, cultural and national peculiarities of each of the suggested groups being described. The analysis has established the invariant compositional model of Spanish folk tales. The functions of permanent structural and thematic components are analyzed from pragmatic perspective. Special attention was paid to the ways and mechanisms of verbalization of author's intentions in the invariant structural components. The study suggests a classification and a comprehensive analysis of the functions of speech elements in the folk tales and their influence on the augmentation of illocutive force of speech acts.
