Essay

The object of research - the moral upbringing of pupils of Galychyna primary schools in the first four decades. The aim of research is to determine the moral aspects of the upbringing potential of Ukrainian literature works for junior children of Galychyna in 1900 - 1939 and their use in the educational and upbringing process of modern secondary school of the first degree. The methods of research: the historic and logic analysis of recommendations on training methods; psycho-pedagogic, historical, philosophic literature; the chronologic analysis; the retrospective and content-analysis; the methods of registration and range, the systemic, structural and comparative analysis of children Ukrainian literature content; the subjective and aim analysis; the methods of generalization, classification and systematization. The scientific innovation and theoretical meaning of the research deal with the first establishment of the peculiarity of junior pupils' moral features upbringing of Galychyna in 1900 - 1939 onthe ideas of truth and good. The content-analysis of ABC-books, readers of Galychyna primary school in the investigated period in order to prove the upbringing potential of works for children in moral features forming was carried out. The understanding of "truth" and "good" meaning in Ukrainian pedagogic thought was deeped. The practical meaning of the obtained results is defined and the main points and conclusions of the research are made in such recommendation on training methods as: "The creative work of Ukrainian writers as a factor of junior pupils' moral upbringing" for teachers of secondary school of the first degree and for students of pedagogic speciality. These points and conclusions were put into practice in Ivano-Frankivsk secondary school № 12. On the basis the dissertation lectures and seminars to the standardized courses such as "Pedagogy", "The History of Pedagogy", the special course "The Moral upbringing of junior pupils in Galychyna by means of children Ukrainian literature", for students of pedagogic speciality of higher educational institutions of different degree of accreditation were worked out. These lectures and seminars are used in the tuitional process of the Pedagogical Institute of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Yuri Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, Lviv Polytechnical National University a lot of lectures were delivered and seminars were conducted on the basis of advanced courses for teachers dealing with primary forms in Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Institute of the post-diploma pedagogic education.
