Dissertation is devoted the actual problem of modern theory and practice - multicultural education of pupils in their senior year in the process of studying humanitarian subjects. It has been determined the most distinctive factors of comprehension the problem of multicultural education of a person, defined the tasks of multicultural education of pupils in their senior year at present, grounded the substance of multicultural education in secondary educational establishments, analyzed its means and functions on the base of analysis of scientific resources. The theoretical regulations, which are important for diagnosing the level of multicultural education of pupils in their senior year in the process of studying humanitarian subjects, have been determined in the dissertation, the criteria and indicators have been grounded, the levels of effectiveness of pupils in their senior year in the process of studying humanitarian subjects have been defined, the main reasons, which do not contribute to effective organization of multicultural education of pupils in the process of studying humanitarian subjects have been revealed. The pedagogical project of multicultural education of pupils in the process of studying humanitarian subjects have been theoretically grounded and experimentally checked. The results of forming experiment testify the positive influence of pedagogical project at the advancement of multicultural education of pupils in the process of studying humanitarian subjects. The main statements and recommendations of dissertation research were applied into practice of multicultural education in secondary educational establishments in Ukraine.
