Essay

The dissertation is devoted to scientific methodical bases of devel-opment of system of improvement of professional skills of teachers of Ukraine in 1970-2004 years, namely: theoretically proved, objectively caused purposes, problems, principles, functions, structure, contents and methodical maintenance of all its levels and forms. This period is characterized by transition from randomness in scientific methodical main-tenance of system of improvement of professional skills of pedagogical workers up to the systematization. As a result of the carried out histori-cal logical analysis of becoming and development of system of im-provement of professional skills of teachers and their scientific me-thodical maintenance during the specified period, it is established, that they appreciably can form base for the further development of the the-ory and a technique the post diploma pedagogical education in Ukraine in which educational process is considered as integration pedagogical, functional and cultural knowledge and skills of pedagogical workers; the choice of forms and methods of training of adults is based on bases of androgogics, pedagogical creativity, pedagogical innovation; system-atically are included in the contents of training of achievement of a pedagogical science, the best practices, pedagogical innovations. Re-sults of these researches have a fundamental character and can be used further.
