Essay

In the thesis the neoreligious motif is presented as an Aesthetic notion. Its development in the Aesthetics categorial apparatus and in the art practice at the end of XIX - the beginning of XX century is studied. The " Aesthetics of history" the said period became a methodological basis for the analysis of the two types of the neoreligious motifs: unitary ("Маsk", "Аrcаdy", "Sаcred Dance") and dychotomical ("Аpollo - Dyonisos", "Christ - antychrist", "Bridе - Femme Fatale"). The comparative analysis of the Modern and Symbolism world models revealed the Aesthetic peculiarities of the neo-religious motifs of Western, Russian and Ukrainian art. These differences have resulted in the search of various new non-classical methods. The ideas of the neoreligius Aesthetics in Ukraine held a leading place in the development of art at the end of XIX - the beginning of XX century and reviving the Biblical word outlook by means of the mysteriality.
