Оbject - the activity of higher educational establishments of Ukraine at the XIXth century; aim - to look through in the dynamics the development of the teaching-methodological complexes of the higher education and to generalize the experience of their usage in the higher educational establishments of Slobozhanschina at the end of the XIXth century; methods - analytical, historic-comparative, retrospective, historic-genetic and comparative analysis of scientific pedagogical sources, diagnostic; novelty - the opinions of the teachers, the scientists on the role, importance, matter of the activity and the function of the teaching-methodological complexes of the higher education in the system of the preparation of the future specialists are systematized for the first time; results - the theoretical statement, the actual material are established in the development of the seminar "The organization and the function of the scientific-methodological complex of the higher educational establishment" for the masters and are created in the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after G.S.Scovoroda
