Essay

There has been revealed acute toxicity of 23 new derivatives of 2-oxoindolin 3-glioxil acid which is within the range of 400mg/kg upto 3750 mg/kg animal body weight thus ranking them among low-toxic and completely nontoxic substances, i.e. of V and VI toxicity class according to K.K. Sidorov's classification. ЛД50. Oxoindolin normalizes electrocardiography and cardiohemodynamics; considerably arrests the formation both of primary and secondary products of free-radical oxidation. Oxoindolin contributes to the acceleration of macroergenic linkage by miocardiac cells, thus excluding any macroergenic reserve depletion (? ATF + ADF + AMF was increased by 35 percent compared with these factors observed in animals which did not undergo any treatment).
