Krotik N. Jewish education formation in Ukraine (20-30-s of the 20-th century)

The dissertation contains the wide ethnic education formation analysis in Ukraine, namely Jewish ethnic education in the 20-30-s of the 20-th century. Considerable attention is given to the government contradictory activity while ethnic minority policy performing. Jewish education system in Ukraine had its peculiarities comparing to other ethnic that provided its quicker development. It was motivated by the necessity of Jewish settlements liquidation with their unemployment as well as industrialization tendency of the county. But it could not prevent Jewish ethnic education elimination in Ukraine. Consequently to the repressions, discriminations, strengthening of the internationalism popularization, unification and russification elements intrusion Jewish ethnic education stopped its being at the end of the 30-s last century. The Jewish education system began to regenerate due to the public charity organizations activity only in independent Ukraine.
