Essay

Object - the process of formation of readers for primary school (50s of the XIX c. till 50s of the XX c.) in Ukraine. The aim - complex characteristics of the readers concerning the Truth, the Good and the Beauty as basic value orientators in personality formation. The methods - theoretical, empiric, statistic. The theoretical results and novelty - the systemic analysis of the readers from 50s of the XIX c. till 50s of the XX c. was performed for the first time from the point of view content as for the value orientations (the Truth, the Good, the Beauty); the full periodization of the process of making primary readers of the certain period is grounded and the given stages are characterized; the notion of the "personality", "values", "value orientations" are made more precise; the perspectives of the using the achievements of the pedagogues of the past are given. The practical results and novelty -scientifically-pedagogical recommendations are developed for the compilers of modern readers, author multimedia program "The Ukrainian textbooks for reading: "50s of the XIX c. till 50s of the XX c." the table of contents of which lights history of becoming and development of process of creation of textbooks. Subject - readers content for junior pupils and its influence on personality formation. The efficiency of introduction - high. The branch - pedagogical, pedagogical institutions of higher education, school of I-III degree.
