Avramenko M. Profile Education at General School in the Federal Republic of Germany

The problems of the organization of the profile education at general school in the Federal Republic of Germany are researched in the thesis. Ukrainian, German and other foreign sources are used. The conception of profile education is analysed. Modern pedagogical innovations in the content, methods and forms of profile education at general school are investigated.The structure of the profile education in Germany is analysed, the attention is paid to the modern theory and experience of profile education in different Lander. The main tendencies in development of profile education are stressed. The focus of attention is the reform connected with Abitur. The psychological and pedagogical problems of profile education are investigated.The thesis deals with the research of new educational curricula for the gymnasiale Oberstufe. The profile education is shown on the level of content of education.
