Dissertation presents some theoretic-experimental investigation of the problems of a civic position' formation with pupils of pedagogical lyceum in the course of education-upbringing process. The essence of a civic position, its component parts, indexes of its modeling was discovered; the place of a civic position in the system of values of pedagogical activity was defined; technology of a civic position' formation and its motivation-purposeful, diagnostic, cognitive, processional, control-correctional components with pupils of pedagogical lyceum was grounded and characterized. The following pedagogical conditions were revealed and checked in the course of investigation: organization of a suitable pedagogical interaction of subjects in the course of education-upbringing process with taking into account certain real conditions of vital activity of educational establishment, contributing to self-government at a pedagogical lyceum as a school of democracy. It was proved that technological organization ofeducation-upbringing process accompanied by certain conditions, gave an opportunity to trace the dynamics of civic position' formation with pupils of pedagogical lyceum from potential position up to realized one, from situational quality up to integration one, as well as to establish the levels of its modeling.
