Stadnik O. Preparation of senior pupils for execution of the social role of a citizen during the process of teaching subjects of humanitarian cycle.

The thesis is dedicated to the problems of thejry and prectice of civil educatuion of senior pupils in a secondary school. It was established that in present conditions a sitizen is a part of system "citizen-environment-economy-community-state".The conception of a "citizen" is defined as a personality that is characterized with a whole complex of socially meaningful qualities. The preparation for ther execution of the social role of a citizen during the process of teaching subjects of humanitarian cycle is considired through forming of patriotic, economical and ecological constituents. The criteria of evaluation are worked out, the methods and the ways to determine the level of preparation of senior pupils for execution of these constituents are proposed. The main aspects of the conception "social role" are formulated. The pattern of preparation of senior pupils for execution social role of a citizen during the process of teaching subjects of humanitarian cycle is developed. The methods of preparationfor the execution social role of a citizen thruoght uniting the integrations constituents are determinated, theoretically proved snd experimentally tested.
