Object - the learning process in Higher Educational Establishments of Ukraine of the end of the XIXth - the beginning of the XXth century; goal - to systematize the theoretical ideas and to generalize the experience of the forming learning-intellectual skills in students of the high school of the Ukraine of the end of the XIXth - the beginning of the XXth century; methods - theoretical analysis, pedagogical experiment, diagnostic, research, questionnaires, conversations, observations, mathematical processing of the data; novelty - the historian-pedagogical research of the problem of the forming learning-intellectual skills in students of the high educational institutions of the Ukraine of the end of the XIXth - the beginning of the XXth century has been executed for the first time; the stages of the development to ideas of the forming learning-intellectual skills in students, in base which lies specifics official politicians, statutes and level of the development of the didactic science, has been motivated; results - introduction of conclusions and recommendations into the teaching process; the development of the special course "The forming learning-intellectual skills in students of the high educational institutions of the Ukraine (the historian-pedagogical aspect)" for student-master; usage of materials of dissertation during the organization of the future teachers' practice and in the process of the post-graduated education; speciality - General Pedagogic and History of Pedagogic.
