Essay

The dissertation devoted to a problem of formation of ecological competence of students of biological specialties of university. In the lead (carried out) research ecological competence is understood as ability to apply ecological knowledge in the certain situations and readiness for ecologically safe activity in a daily life. In formation of ecological competence basic value has the balanced parity (ratio) of information-skilled, valuable-motivational components under condition of readiness and the responsibility for ecologically safe activity. Though pedagogical researches on formation of ecological competence of the person of different age groups were carried out (spent), but corresponding work at universities is carried out the greater degree spontaneously, without an appropriate scientific substantiation. As a result of the lead(carried out) research it is found out essence of the characteristic of concept "ecological competence" as to students; it is determined criteria of parameters and a levelof formation of ecological competence of students of biological specialties; it is proved efficiency of pedagogical conditions of formation of ecological competence of students of universities: improvement of the maintenance(contents) of a teaching material with take in special, substantial that of a remedial component of teaching and educational process that "the Ecological study of local lore" and methodical recommendations for teachers concerning carrying out of educational field practice is more full realized in a complex of a special course; interactive methods of formation of ecological competence Positive influence of the proved conditions and methods on formation of ecological competence of students is finished experimentally.
