Essay

The research is dedicated to the analysis of the theory and practice of critical thinking development among student youth in the course of educational process as the general pedagogical problem. In the dissertation the main theoretical points as well as the modern views of the scientists about the pedagogical means, which assist in demonstration of its various forms, are highlighted. Special attention is given to formulation of the critical thinking concept, classification of its main characteristics, genesis of its use as the element of student youth socialization. The leading pedagogical experience has been synthesized based on which a special pedagogical experience construction has been made, what allowed to determine the pedagogical conditions and to substantiate the technology of critical thinking development of the student youth as interaction of a teacher and a student aimed at goal achieving through realizing the principles, sequential execution of the given tasks using optimal forms, methods and tools according to the pedagogical conditions in which they are introduced. A teaching-methodical complex has been developed as the part of the technology.
