The Object: Organization of pedagogical process at the general secondary schools (Hauptschule) of Austria. The Purpose: To determine the theo-retical basics and technology of organization of profile-oriented education at the general secon-dary schools of Austria, taking into account the historical aspect of its development. Methods: theoretical, empirical, statistical. Practical value: a complex study of profile-oriented education at general secondary schools of Austria has been carried out; the results of the scientific research have been implemented into development of rec-ommendation in regards to methods of profile-oriented education in the general education schools of Ukraine.
