Essay

An object of research is a process of – Public Pre-school Education in the Crimea (the second half of the XIX – the beginning of the XX- centuries). Research purpose – the thesis is focused on the complex historical-pedagogical analysis of the establishment and activities of the public pre-school institutions in the Crimea in the second half of the XIX – the beginning of the XX centuries. Research methods – historical and logical method, systematizing archive sources and materials of funds, structural and comparative, constructive and genetic, historical and retrospective, chronological systemic and comparative methods, interpretative method. Scientific novelty of the thesis is that it emphasizes political, economical, social-cultural and pedagogical peculiarities of the establishment of the public pre-school education as one of the separate parts of the system of education which has its aim, tasks and structure; it defines social-economical pre-conditions for the establishment and development of the pre-school education in the Crimea in the above-mentioned period; it shows the role of the philanthropic and social-pedagogical societies of the Crimea in the formation of pre-school institutions during the second half of the XIX century – the beginning of the XX century. The types of the pre-school institutions were defined. New documents, facts, names of the founders and head-masters of the pre-school institutions of the Crimea in the second half of the XIX-th – the beginning of the XX-th century are introduced into scientific circulation. The periods are grounded and defined according to the leading tendencies in the development of the pre-school institutions in the Crimea in the second half of the XIX-th – the beginning of the XX-th century. The possibilities of the creative use of the experience in respect to the public pre-school education in the Crimea of the second half of the XIX-th – the beginning of the XX-th century in modern conditions are actualized. Efficiency of introduction is high. A region is pedagogical, higher establishments of pedagogical education, preschool educational institutions.
