Object - the creative heritage of the scholars of Slobidska Ukraine of the second half of the ХІХth - at the beginning of the ХХth century; goal - to establish the contribution of the scholars of Slobidska Ukraine of the investigated period to development of the theory and practice of the realisation of the idea of interrelation of teaching and education; methods - chronological, historical-typological, analysis, synthesis, ordering, comparison; novelty - the complete analysis of the theory and practice of the realization of the idea of interrelation of teaching and education in the creative heritage of the scholars of Slobidska Ukraine of the second half of the ХІХth - at the beginning of the ХХth century for the first time is carried out; the approaches to disclosing of the essence of the problem of interrelation of teaching and educational problems, to substantiation of educational functions of the maintenance, methods, training forms are defined; the concrete directions of the activity of the scholars of Slobidska Ukraine concerning the realization of certain idea in the practice of the work of educational institutions of different types are generalized; the prognostic tendencies of development of the idea of interrelation of teaching and education in modern conditions of the education reforming in Ukraine are established; results - introduction of conclusions and recommendations into the teaching process of the high pedagogical educational institutions; the development of special courses "Interrelation of teaching and education: historiсal-pedagogical aspect" for the masters; usage of materials of dissertation during the organization of the future teachers' practice and in the process of the post-graduated education; speciality - General Pedagogic and History of Pedagogic.
