Essay

The dissertation deals with the issues of the theory and practice of moral education of junior teenaged pupils. From the standpoint of person-centered approach the author specifies the nature of moral education of junior teenaged pupils and develops the methods for the diagnostics of moral education and moral feature among teenagers; there has been theoretically developed the person-centered model of moral upbringing of the 6-7 forms pupils in studying English. Pedagogical conditions of implementation of person-centered moral educations of teenagers are determined. They are: subject-subject basis of education process organization; priority of person centered comunication based on dialogical form as predominant kind of educational communication; active position of the participants of education process under conditions of personal choice, ensured success, cooperation, participation, empathy; creation of sutable education environment presupposes using variations of methods, ways, interactive techniques inthe education process. The author gives a general outline of the results of the practical and experimental testing of the model efficiency and the pedagogical conditions of the moral education of junior teenaged pupils. The efficiency of the designed model of moral education of pupils at the foreign language lessons are experimentally proved. The рroposed and experimentally proved pedagogical conditions and methods are sure to be used in secondary school practice.
