Object – processes of formation and development of system of personnel maintenance of a hotel economy; the purpose – a methodical and methodological substantiation of strategy of personnel maintenance of a hotel economy of Ukraine and development of offers on improvement of preparation, retraining and improvement of professional skill of workers of branch at stages of economic growth; methods – the analysis and synthesis, the statistical analysis, average and relative sizes, graphic; novelty – is developed strategy of personnel maintenance of development hotel economy of Ukraine, methodological approaches to development of specifications of number of workers in a section of vocational groups and categories of the hotel enterprises are proved; results – the design procedure of specifications of number of workers is developed for hotels of different categories and vocational groups, the forecast of perspective number of the personnel of a hotel economy for the period up to 2015 is constructed, Strategy of personnel maintenance of development of the industry of hotels and directions of improvement of system of preparation, retraining and improvement of professional skill of the hotel personnel is offered; it is introduced in an economic practice.
