Essay

The problem of the upbringing of Junior Schoolchildren's tolerance at music lessons in conditions of policultural space is investigated in the thesis. The conception of tolerance as one of the main principles of the policultural educational space is revealed and scientifically grounded. As art is able to influence the attitudes of one person to the other by means of emotional act and reflexion music lessons are defined as a basic way of the upbringing of junior schoolchildren's tolerance. The results of this research allowed us to define the pedagogical conditions that successfully influence the process of upbringing of junior schoolchildren's tolerance at music lessons and to work out the technique of upbringing pupil's tolerance that includes the following stages: the stage of adaptation and studying, the stage of acquiring practical experience, the productive-modeling stage, the evaluative-regulative stage; this technique embraces three main directions: informative, emotional and behavioral. According to the results of a checking stage of experiment the majority of pupils of the experimental classes has revealed high and sufficient levels of tolerance.
